Education Danaher Motion offers education courses for those who work with the Thomson product
range (linear units, linear actuators, lead screws, screw jacks and
handling components). Typical persons that will benefit from the courses
are sales personnel, application engineers and customer support personnel.
All courses are held at Tollo Linear in Kristianstad, Sweden and the language
the courses are held in is English.
Customized courses We can arrange customized courses if you want a course that covers a special area, that are more or less advanced than the standard courses, that takes place on a special date or that deviates in any other aspect from the standard courses. In order to arrange a customized course there must be a minimum five participants and we need some time in order to prepare the course. Please contact Jan Hjalmarsson for further information.
Accommodation For those that want us to arrange for accommodation, please state how many hotel rooms and if single or double in the application. We will pick you up and leave you at the hotel. Courses Linear units and linear actuators - basic course (LINBAS) This course is intended
to give you the basic knowledge on how linear units and linear actuators
works, suitable applications and sizing and selection. The course is
held over two days from 08.00 - 16.00 each day. All necessary material
is included in the course. There is
no course fee and lunch is included each day. The number of places of each course is limited
and the places goes to the ones signing up first. This course is intended to give you a deeper understanding of linear units and how to apply them. This course require basic linear motion knowledge. We therefore strongly recommend participants to attend the LINBAS course before taking this course. The course is held over two days from 08.00 - 16.00 each day. The first day we focus on theory and calculations while the second day is individually designed in cooperation with the participants. It can for instance include work shop practice, case studies or theoretical discussions. All necessary material is included in the course. There is no course fee and lunch is included each day. The number of places of each course is limited and the places goes to the ones signing up first.
